GARDEN CITY, Idaho — Garden City police are seeking help from the public to identify a man whom they say robbed a customer service clerk at about 7:35 Tuesday night at the Fred Meyer store on Chinden Boulevard near Glenwood Street.

Police said the man walked up to the service desk, told the clerk he was armed, and demanded cash. The amount of money taken in the robbery is not being released.

The suspect is described as an adult white man who was wearing a blue plaid shirt, grey-colored hat, black sunglasses and khaki shorts. The man is of average height and build, and his left arm was in black and white sling.
