The weather may have cooled down in recent weeks, but that hasn't stopped M&S fans from rushing out to buy a "pretty" mini dress from the Marks and Spencer sale.

Officially launched in stores and online yesterday, the British high-street retailer's mammoth summer sale has slashed up to 50 percent across every department and is the ideal opportunity for shoppers to stock up on last minute holiday clothes.

One such dress that shoppers can't get enough of is the Printed Mini Shirt Dress which is currently trending on the Marks and Spencer website, as many of them say it can be "dressed up or down."

The dress can be bought in four different eye-catching coloured prints, with the multi-coloured print being slashed from £29.50 to just £19. Meanwhile, the red, light blue and light yellow colours are slightly pricier at £22.

Cut in a regular fit, it features a pretty pleated back yoke detail. Its collared design and buttoned front give it a smart touch, while the short sleeves are perfect for keeping you that bit cooler.

The Printed Mini Shirt Dress has received plenty of five-star reviews from shoppers, with many hailing its "pretty colours" and versatility, meaning it can be dressed up with heels or down with a pair of trainers.
